Sunday, February 1, 2026:  New Jersey poets Lois Harrod and Dan Zibman will read on Sunday, Feb. 1, 2 p.m. at Old City Hall, 13 Crosswicks Street, Bordentown. The free event is part of the Fanny Parnell Poetry Project and developed through the City of Bordentown’s Old City Hall Restoration Committee as part of the 2026 cultural series.


Thursday, February 19, 2026: Lawrenceville Public Library, 6:30 pm

POETRY READING AND OPEN MIC: Join celebrated poet Lois Marie Harrod for a poignant poetry reading and open mic featuring her 19th collection, The Bed the Size of a Small Country.  Harrod’s work explores love, grief, and memory with lyrical depth and  wry humor, reflecting on her 57-year marriage and the loss of her  husband. A Dodge poet and lifelong educator, Harrod’s voice resonates  with emotional honesty and literary grace. Attendees are invited to  share their own poems during the open mic.


Sunday, April 12, 2026, 2 pm: Lois reads with Cool Women Read for Community without Walls, CMAP, Poor Farm Road, Princeton, NJ.

Sunday April 12, 2026, 4 pm:  Lois read with Chris Reed at Princeton Makes in the Princeton Shopping Center, followed by an Open Read.
